The external manifestation of a brand, as seen and heard in the market—particularly the unique verbal and visual components and messages designed to appeal and resonate with customers. The branding identifies the company's place in relation to its competitors while also expressing the intended message of the brand.

Brand identity evokes a sense of the brand's personality and character, reinforcing its position relative to competitors and articulating what it hopes to communicate.
